The Town of Danvers welcomes applicants to join our team as a Permanent Part-TimeVan Driver for the Danvers Senior Center. This part time, non-benefited position is responsible for transportation of passengers in a timely, safe and proficient manner to designated sites in Danvers and surrounding communities. This position works no more than 19 hours a week Monday-Friday. Non-union, $18.00/hour.

The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required.
High School diploma and valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. CPR, Basic First Aid, Wheelchair Lift and Securement, Disability Awareness, Defensive Driving, Passenger Assistance and Drug & Alcohol Awareness Safety Sensitive Employee trainings and/or experience preferred, not required. Training is provided upon with refresher trainings offered throughout employment as required/appropriate. Participation in these trainings is a job requirement. Subject to random drug testing and yearly physical exams. Ability to speak fluent English. Successful completion of Criminal Offender Record Check (CORI) background check.
