Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Join a 6-person laborist group and manage high-volume deliveries in the hospital.
• Participate in team-based patient care alongside midwives and physician assistants.
• Maintain and update clinical knowledge through continuing education.

Responsibilities

Partnered with a leading hospital in Brooklyn, New York with an opening for an OB Hospitalist to join their team.

About The Opportunity

• Schedule: (12-14x) 12 or (6-7x) 24-hour shifts
• No call shifts
• 48-beds, Level III NICU
• Annual Volume: 6k deliveries
• 6 person laborist group, expanding to 9
• 12 midwives
• MFM onsite
• Physician assistants in IP and triage
• BE/BC
  
  

Qualifications

• Board Certified
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered physician New York state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as a OB Hospitalist
• One year of EMR experience
