Responsibilities

Partnered with a leading medical center in central South Carolina with an opening for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their team.

This position offers excellent benefits, including a competitive base salary based on experience, full benefits and retirement, and a generous sign-on bonus.

Position Overview:

  • Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
  • Call Requirement: 3 weekends per year
  • Cases: Non-OR anesthesia, OR anesthesia, hearts
  • Facility: 27 ORs and 2 CVs
  • Trauma Designation: Level III
  • Medical Direction: 1:4
  • EMR: Epic
  • Board Certification: Required


Qualifications

  • Board Certified
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Active unencumbered CRNA South Carolina state license
  • Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
  • One year of work experience as a CRNA
  • One year of EMR experience


SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
