Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Precision Cutting Operator to transform engineering drawings into high‑quality fabricated components using advanced CNC cutting equipment. You will load materials, set offsets, adjust programs, and ensure products meet exact specifications.

You will troubleshoot processes, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with fabrication teams to support production goals and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work orders to develop machining and cutting programs.
• Program and operate CNC cutting equipment to produce parts with precision and consistency.
• Load materials, set offsets, make program adjustments, and ensure finished products meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment and fabrication processes, making adjustments to improve performance and accuracy.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine upkeep on CNC machines and related equipment.
• Work closely with fabrication teams and supervisors to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
