A regional university is seeking a P&P Trainer II to manage training sessions for DCBS employees in Protection & Permanency. Purpose of Position
The Protection & Permanency Trainer, Level II, for the DCBS Employee Training Program (P&P Trainer II) will manage the planning, communication and documentation for assigned training sessions in DCBS Protection & Permanency and will facilitate Protection & Permanency training modules and support trainees through applied learning strategies in assigned areas, following established lesson plans and curricula.
The P&P Trainer II will also manage records and reports in collaboration with the IHI Training Manager and attend personnel and reporting meetings as required. Occasionally, depending on demand, FS Trainers may assist with or manage special training requests. This position is remote; most work will be completed virtually. However, there will be occasional mandatory meetings at NKU or with DCBS for which travel to the location will be required.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage planning, communication, and documentation for assigned training sessions
Train DCBS employees in assigned areas of Protection & Permanency, following established lesson plans and curricula
Tracking and reporting on short-term outcomes and long-term goals; assisting with report writing
State, regional, and IHI personnel and reporting meetings
Qualifications
Master’s degree and 5 years of experience
Experience with TRIS , Microsoft Office, myNKU/ SAP , computer lab/classroom, and basic office equipment
Any candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
Travel in the greater Northern Kentucky region will be required.
