Job summary

Mount Prospect Academy is hiring a Permanency Specialist/Counselor in Keene, NH. The role focuses on strengthening family connections, setting treatment goals, and providing clinical support to youth and families within CHS services.

The candidate should have a Master’s in social work or related field, be license eligible, and bring 2+ years in human services. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or related field.
• License eligible preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in human services or related field, including direct experience with children and families
• Knowledge of Juvenile Justice System valued
• Valid driver's license with insured transportation
• Background and driving record check required before starting

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in strengthening and establishing lifelong connections to facilitate success.
• Establish clear treatment goals and clinically appropriate recommendations.
• Provide clinical support for individuals and families to overcome obstacles and build support networks.
• Educate and guide in developing structure, routines, parenting skills, and positive communication.
• Work independently and build rapport with referral sources in Keene area
