Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks a Permanent Mobile Radiologic Technologist to deliver portable X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes and care facilities across the West Sacramento region.

The role requires ARRt certification, active California Radiologic Technologist License, and a valid CA driver's license. Vaccination is required, with exemptions reviewed. Overtime and on-call duties may apply based on caseload.

Responsibilities

• Mobile Diagnostic Imaging: transport, unload, and operate portable DR/CR equipment to capture X-ray images at patient facilities.
• Image Transmission: process and transmit completed X-rays to Radiologists for interpretation.
• EKG Testing: perform EKGs and transmit results to Cardiologists for evaluation.
• Documentation & Logistics: daily scanning of paperwork and billing records; communicate with dispatch/management.
• Equipment & Vehicle Care: operate and maintain assigned transport vehicles and portable imaging hardware.

Shift & Schedule: 8 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week.

• Shift Option 1: Tuesday – Saturday (AM / Day Shift).

• Shift Option 2: Friday – Tuesday (AM / PM Shift).

  Weekend & On-Call Requirements: Weekend work based on caseload (paid as overtime if required) | On-call coverage required (details discussed during interview).

Position Overview & Clinical Scope:

A mobile diagnostic imaging service provider based in northern California is seeking a Permanent Mobile Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality, portable X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and direct-care residential settings across the West Sacramento region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Diagnostic Imaging: Transport, unload, and operate portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment into patient facilities to capture clinically diagnostic X-ray images ordered by physicians.
• Image Transmission: Process and transmit completed diagnostic X-rays electronically to Radiologists for timely interpretation.
• EKG Testing: Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for evaluation.
• Documentation & Logistics: Daily scanning of exam-related paperwork and billing records per protocol; maintain regular communication with dispatch and management teams.
• Equipment & Vehicle Care: Safely operate and maintain assigned company transport vehicles and portable imaging hardware.

Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements:

Licensure & Certifications:

• ARRT Certification: Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) [REQUIRED].
• State Licensure: Active California Radiologic Technologist License [REQUIRED; limited licenses not accepted].
• Driver's License: Active, valid California Driver's License in good standing at all times [REQUIRED].
• Health Compliance: COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemption requests evaluated with supporting documentation).
• Dual-Application Restriction: Candidate must not have applied directly to the facility prior to agency submittal.

Physical & Operational Demands:

• Must be capable of pushing, pulling, and maneuvering portable equipment weighing 50 to 100+ lbs (utilizing vehicle ramps and pulleys).
• Pushing/pulling forces of 50+ lbs occur frequently throughout the shift (16 to 24 times daily).
