Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates in the San Jose area is seeking a Permanent Mobile Radiologic Technologist to provide portable X-ray and EKG services across nursing homes and long-term care facilities.

You will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and operating DR/CR systems, transmitting images to radiologists, performing EKGs, and maintaining accurate documentation and dispatch communication.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required (active).
• California Radiologic Technologist license required (active).
• Driver's license in good standing required (CA).
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions discussed).
• Dual-application restriction: cannot apply directly to facility before agency submittal.

Responsibilities

• Mobile imaging: transport, unload, and set up portable DR/CR equipment for X-rays ordered by physicians.
• Image transmission: process and transmit completed X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
• EKG testing: perform EKGs and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Documentation & logistics: daily review of exam paperwork and billing records; coordinate with dispatch.
• Equipment & vehicle care: operate and maintain portable imaging equipment and company vehicles.

Shift & Schedule:

8 Hours/Day | 5 Days/Week | Thursday – Monday (AM / PM Shift).

Weekend & On-Call Requirements:

Weekend coverage required | On-call duties required (details discussed during interview).

Compensation & Agency Fee Structure:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $52.00 – $60.00 / hour.
• Permanent Placement Fee: 20% of first-year base salary.
• Relocation Assistance: Possible relocation support available .(discussed during client interview).
• Licensure Reimbursement: California state license expense reimbursement available after 90 days of employment.

Position Overview & Clinical Scope:

A premier mobile diagnostic imaging service provider in the South Bay area is seeking a Permanent Mobile Radiologic Technologist to deliver portable X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and direct-care residential settings across the San Jose metro area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Diagnostic Imaging: Transport, unload, and set up portable Digital Radiography (DR) or Computed Radiography (CR) equipment to capture diagnostic X-ray images ordered by physicians.
• Image Transmission: Process and transmit completed diagnostic X-rays electronically to Radiologists for timely interpretation.
• EKG Testing: Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for evaluation.
• Documentation & Logistics: Daily scanning of exam-related paperwork and billing records per protocol; maintain clear communication with dispatch and management teams.
• Equipment & Vehicle Care: Safely operate and maintain assigned company transport vehicles and portable imaging hardware.

Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements:

Licensure & Certifications:

• ARRT Certification: Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) [REQUIRED].
• State Licensure: Active California Radiologic Technologist License [REQUIRED; limited licenses not accepted].
• Driver's License: Active, valid California Driver's License in good standing at all times [REQUIRED].
• Health Compliance: COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemption requests evaluated with supporting documentation).
• Dual-Application Restriction: Candidate must not have applied directly to the facility prior to agency submittal.

Physical & Operational Demands:

• Must be capable of pushing, pulling, and maneuvering portable equipment weighing 50 to 100+ lbs (utilizing vehicle ramps and pulleys).
• Pushing/pulling forces of 50+ lbs occur frequently throughout the shift (16 to 24 times daily).
