Job summary

MedCadre in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled therapy to improve independence and daily living skills. You will develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an active OT license in New Jersey and has strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Prior clinical or rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Current and active state OT license.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence.

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
