Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional challenges. The OT will develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence and daily living skills.

You will work with physicians and a care team, educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment. A master's or doctoral OT degree and an active state license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state OT license.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs. Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment. Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Follow safety, infection control, and professional standards. Maintain a supportive, patient-centered treatment environment.

Qualifications

Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state Occupational Therapist license. Previous clinical experience preferred. Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
