Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Peritos Electricistas role based in Coamo, Puerto Rico. The role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on power, lighting, control, and instrumentation systems in industrial environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, inspecting and testing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and applicable codes. The Peritos Electricistas will support panel maintenance, assist with commissioning and startup of equipment, and collaborate with engineers and technicians on control systems and automation projects. The role also requires accurate documentation of work performed and clear communication with project teams and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical work in industrial and commercial settings.
• Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control panels.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues in control circuits, and resolving equipment problems.
• Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles related to power, controls, and instrumentation.
• Valid Perito Electricista license in good standing.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• OSHA and NFPA70E certifications are recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and 3D/CAD layouts.
• Experience in industrial environments such as pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and use of test instruments; Spanish proficiency with functional English is an advantage.
