Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Full-time Associate (Perishables) for the LA/San Gabriel Valley area. The role involves managing perishables, stocking and rotating inventory, operating the cash register, and providing courteous customer service. You may also assist customers to their vehicles and perform basic store upkeep and bookkeeping tasks.

Candidates should be able to read and write English, handle pricing codes, and lift up to 60 pounds. Prior perishables experience is preferred.

• Ability to read and write English and interact with customers and co-workers.
• Experience with cash handling and basic register operations is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on occasion.
• Familiarity with perishable product handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned perishables area, stock merchandise, and ensure proper pricing and rotation.
• Assist customers, operate cash register, and help load purchases when needed.
• Perform basic store housekeeping and sanitation as directed by management.
• Review invoices and ensure accurate stock levels and displays.
