Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a Warehouse Team member to provide outstanding service through efficient and accurate product selection for Wegmans stores in the Rochester area.

You will build and move pallets, perform order audits, and ensure compliance with quality standards while preserving cold chain integrity when needed. • Build and handle pallets to minimize product damage and maximize trailer space.
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other communication forms.
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads with temperature requirements.
• Keep a clean work area and follow Wegmans sanitation and food safety guidelines.

Job description

As part of our Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for providing incredible service by providing efficient and accurate selection of products ordered by Wegmans stores.

• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality
• Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports as well as other forms of necessary communication
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensures that all Wegmans sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed
