Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate for the 1st shift in Greensboro, NC. The role keeps the perishable warehouse clean, manages spills, and maintains a safe working environment across floors, pick areas and equipment.

The position requires basic education, ability to follow safety protocols and operate cleaning equipment; employees must be at least 18 and able to pass required certifications. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract and work with money, weight, volume and distance.
• Must pass Industrial Equipment Certification Test.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Keeps warehouse clean, free of clutter, spills and debris.
• Cleans warehouse, outside buildings, parking lots and perimeter.
• Mops, sweeps and scrubs floors and walls; empties trash cans.
• Cleans offices and restrooms; cleans pick slots and under racking.
• Work safely with chemicals, sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, balers, compactors.
• Properly scans and processes damaged or reclaim items; recycle processing.
