Job summary

FreshPoint Connecticut, LLC is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Associate to monitor the quality of perishable products in the warehouse and input order data accordingly. The role requires daily inspection of products, communication with inventory and compliance teams, and adherence to safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse/inventory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Check produce in slots daily to ensure shipped product meets standards.
• Communicate status of product quality to necessary parties.
• Notify Inventory/Compliance managers and buyers of quality issues and assist in resolving them.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage, warehouse and truck damage accounting.
• Inspect inbound freight, warehoused and outbound product; document condition.
• Analyze and propose resolutions for quality assurance problems.
• Observe all safety, rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
