Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Chantilly, VA seeks a HiLo Driver Perishable to move merchandise throughout the warehouse from receiving to the customer’s car. You will complete required paperwork, tag orders, and assist in loading and unloading while following safety policies.

The role requires forklift operation experience, attention to inventory accuracy, and the ability to work with MS Office tools and basic hardware.

Qualifications

• Experience with the service, production, or support role having greater responsibility to perform all (or most) of the standard work within the function
• One year of experience in related area of responsibility
• Experience leveraging technology to perform daily tasks, including familiarity with MS Office applications web navigation & basic hardware functions
• Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport with both internal teammates and Smart Warehousing business units

Responsibilities

• Sort and load/unload product and manage documentation
• Count product against manifest and inspect inbound shipments for damage
• Report shortages, overages, and damage to the manager
• Verify quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer order
• Operate machinery safely and assist loading/unloading
• Participate in physical inventories
• Maintain clean, neat, and safe work areas; promote safety
• Maintain warehouse security
• Other duties as assigned
