Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Virginia Beach is seeking a HiLo Driver Perishable to move merchandise throughout the warehouse, from receiving to a customer’s car door, and to complete required paperwork.

You will operate a forklift safely, count and verify product, check inbound shipments for damage or dates, and assist in loading and unloading. Strong communication and basic MS Office skills are helpful; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience in service, production, or support roles with responsibility to perform most standard tasks in the function.
• High school degree or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in related area of responsibility.
• Experience using technology for daily tasks; MS Office and basic hardware.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Proven initiative to complete tasks with urgency and assertiveness.
• HiLo Operator responsibilities include forklift operation and may perform order filler and checker duties.
• Operate equipment safely following prescribed methods.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise and load/unload throughout the warehouse from receiving to customer pickup.
• Complete required paperwork to support the function.
• Tag or mark orders as requested and slot moves as needed.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with policies.
