Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Driver II - Class B to deliver and unload perishable seafood and gourmet products in New Orleans. The role emphasizes customer service, safety standards, and HACCP compliance while operating company vehicles.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of commercial driving experience, and a valid Class B license; basic English proficiency. Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work long shifts, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products according to route, ensuring proper documentation and signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-delivery vehicle inspections and safe operation of the truck.
• Maintain HACCP and DOT compliance; monitor temperature-controlled transport conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary contact for customers during deliveries.
• Report issues to management and document transactions and returns as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading and safe handling of perishable goods.
