Job summary

Food Lion in Ashland, VA seeks a Perishable Department Associate to deliver quality customer service while maintaining department standards. You will assist customers, manage meat, dairy and other perishables, rotate stock, and ensure accurate stocking according to shop guidelines.

You will follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety procedures, handle deliveries, and help keep the department clean and organized. Prior experience in retail is helpful; high school diploma preferred.

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.

• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store properly
• Maintain proper product levels in all Perishable areas (meat, lunchmeat, dairy, ice cream)
