Food Lion is seeking a dedicated team member for the Perishable Department in Providence Forge, VA. This role emphasizes fast, friendly customer service, accurate handling of perishables, and strict adherence to safety and stocking procedures.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating stock, maintaining meat, dairy and frozen sections, and ensuring displays meet company guidelines. Prior experience in retail is valued, with training provided on ACIS/CAO tools.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willing to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to follow food safety and workplace guidelines.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Mansioni

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and code where applicable.
• Maintain product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, ice cream, and other perishable areas.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, and display per policy.
