Job summary

Food Lion in Lake Ridge, VA is hiring for a Perishable Department Associate. You will provide quality customer service, maintain department standards, and help maximize sales while minimizing shrink through proper procedures.

Key duties include receiving deliveries, stocking meat and dairy, using ACIS/CAO tools, and ensuring safety and compliance with Food Lion guidelines. Prior customer service preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic, fast, friendly and accurate customer service.

• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen, and related areas.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Follow Food Safety, Workplace Safety and company policies.
