Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist The University of Kansas Health System Information Desk to develop and enhance customer service for all patients and visitors.
• Collaborate with department liaisons to improve communication with patients/visitors; may include transport, facility navigation and/or placing families in conference rooms for surgeon discussions.
• Deliver customer-focused communication to provide patients and visitors with quality information.
• Perform active surveillance of the area for potential safety/security issues and relay to appropriate personnel.
• Receive and relay all forms of communication accurately, promptly and courteously to the appropriate personnel/department.
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
