Job summary

Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu is seeking a Perioperative Transition Registered Nurse to provide care across the perioperative continuum, from pre-operative assessments to recovery. You will monitor vital signs, develop and implement patient care plans, coordinate nursing services, and support post-anesthesia and post-operative patients, including pain management.

Qualifications

• Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse license.
• Two years of recent RN experience in Post Anesthesia Care, Surgical Admissions, ER or ICU.
• CPR certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative nursing care across the perioperative continuum.
• Identify patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate nursing services to restore health after surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and manage post-operative pain for patients in recovery.
