Job summary

Main Line Health in Ardmore, PA is seeking a Perioperative Technician for a full-time mid-shift (1:00pm–9:30pm) with call. You will support the Surgical Team, assist with patient positioning, instrument care, and OR cleaning between procedures.

Requirements include OR or anesthesia tech experience, a High School diploma or GED, and Provider BLS certification. The role offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, PTO, free parking, and employee discounts.

You are an integral member of the Perioperative Team! As a Periop Tech, you will work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery. In this role, you will be knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by our Surgical and Anesthesia team. Periop Tech's are responsible for positioning, lifting, and/or transferring patients as well as cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure. You would also help transport specimens, manage inventory, and maintain adequate supply levels.
