Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Certified Surgical Technologist
• Experience as surgical technologist in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Act as a member of the perioperative nursing team and perform indirect perioperative tasks.
• May be assigned to transport patients and second assisting.
• Serve as a technical expert for a surgical service.
• Support pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients during surgical procedures.
