Job summary

Infor is seeking a Surgical Tech to provide peri-operative care under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Surgery department.

Responsibilities include assisting during procedures, preparing sterile setups, moving patients, and ensuring safety. The role requires BLS certification, certification as a surgical technician or Michigan LPN licensure, and readiness to work in a non-exempt hospital environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Graduate from an accredited surgical technician program and certified within 12 months of hire, or hold LPN licensure in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team during operative procedures.
• Prepare and inventory sterile setup; pass items to the operating team.
• Assist in preparing/moving patients and cleaning the OR.
• Prepare specimens for analysis.
