Job summary

University Health in San Antonio seeks a Perioperative Attendant to support all operating room personnel and help maintain a clean, orderly environment throughout the surgical suite. You will assist with housekeeping, manage basic records and instructions, maintain guest relations, and contribute to safe, efficient patient care in a fast-paced OR setting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to understand written and oral instructions, keep records, and do simple arithmetic.
• Six months of practical experience in operating room functions is preferred. Training in CPR and operating room procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists all operating room personnel with support services in all areas of the operating room.
• Carries out general and specific housekeeping activities essential to keeping the operating room facilities clean and orderly.
• Maintains good guest and working relations.
