Job summary

University Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Perioperative Attendant to join our team. You will assist operating room personnel, maintain a clean and orderly OR environment, and support patient care through courteous service.

The position offers flexible hours, paid time off, and advancement opportunities within one of South Texas' leading hospitals. English proficiency and basic math skills are required; CPR training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to understand written and oral instructions, keep records, and do simple arithmetic.
• Six months of practical experience in operating room functions is preferred. Training in CPR and operating room procedures is preferred.

• Assist all operating room personnel with support services in all areas of the operating room.
• Carry out general and specific housekeeping activities essential to keeping the operating room facilities clean and orderly.
• Maintain good guest and working relations.
