Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification or completion within three months of employment is required.
• Preferred experience or education in a health-related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the OR holding area and assist with transfers.
• Consult with anesthesiologist and RN to determine equipment and supplies before procedures.
• Process post-surgery case carts and discard sharps; manage supplies and charging.
• Set up fluid warmer, invasive lines, and sterile supplies for anesthesia as needed.
• Restock anesthesia machines and check filters between cases.
• Open sterile supplies under RN supervision to support procedures.
• Assist with room turnover including cleaning, trash removal, and linen handling.
• Transport blood products and specimens to OR and lab/pathology.
• Retrieve medications under direction of licensed personnel.
• Promote Intermountain Health values and adhere to policies.
