Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure, Registrations & Certifications: Surgical Technician certification or License by the State Board; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of instruments and equipment.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to prepare for peri-operative procedures.
• Assists with ordering and restocking of surgical suites with supplies.
• Reviews preference cards electronically to assist in quality outcomes.
• Presents a professional image to nursing and medical staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
