Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Supervisor – Perioperative Services RN to lead the perioperative team, oversee care for pediatric and adult patients undergoing surgery, and ensure high-quality nursing practice.

The role reports to the Manager and Director of Nursing, focusing on clinical and operational leadership, staff development, and adherence to standards. BSN preferred; 3–5 years hospital experience; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current licensure in state of practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years current clinical experience required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent clinical competence; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership of the perioperative unit.
• Supervise nursing and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, regulatory and professional standards.
