Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) seeks a seasoned nursing leader to head a Pre-Operative/Recovery Department. This role requires directing a high-performing team, ensuring patient-centered care, and governing adherence to Joint Commission standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of management nursing experience in Critical Care, Preop/PACU, or OR, and holds a Texas RN license. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
• Graduate of professional school of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission rules and regulations.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience with management in Critical care, Preop/PACU, or OR.
• Oversight of surgery, anesthesia, Preop/PACU, Pre Admission Testing and Sterile Processing; assist as RN Circulator and Scrub Tech as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead an efficient, successful, customer-service trained Pre-Operative/Recovery Department.
• Motivate and lead process improvements to increase department and hospital efficiency.
