Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Mission Viejo, CA seeks an experienced Director, Perioperative Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across operating room and related patient care departments.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required upon hire
• Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership or administration experience
• Experience leading clinical operations and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, quality improvement, staff development, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee perioperative services, including operating room operations and related clinical departments
• Develop and implement operational strategies, business plans, and service-line objectives
• Manage labor, operating, and capital budgets while optimizing staffing and resource allocation
• Lead, mentor, and develop perioperative managers and clinical teams
• Promote employee engagement, professional development, recruitment, and retention
• Collaborate with the CNO, physicians, medical directors, and interdisciplinary teams to establish and achieve clinical and operational goals
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement evidence-based practices
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission (JCAHO), California Title 22, nursing standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain effective policies, procedures, clinical competencies, and staff performance evaluations
• Improve patient experience and customer satisfaction across assigned departments
• Support ethical nursing practice, patient advocacy, and a collaborative professional environment
