Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Nursing for Perioperative Services to oversee ORs, PACU, Cath Lab, GI Lab, and Central Sterile Processing. You will partner with medical staff to direct care management, quality programs, and regulatory compliance to meet organizational goals.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical direction, and experience driving performance improvement across perioperative services within a major health system.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN in Nursing, Healthcare or Administration preferred.
• BLS, ALS required.
• 5+ years in Perioperative and Central Sterile Processing leadership.
• Active DC RN License; CSSM/CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational oversight for Peri-Operative Services including ORs, PACU, Cath Lab, Pre-Admission Testing, GI Lab and CS Processing.
• Develop and implement goals and policies to support care delivery and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical staff to drive quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and support teams; model professional behavior and effective problem-solving.
