Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh seek an experienced RNFA to join Perioperative Services as a first assistant in the operating room. You will work closely with surgeons, delivering direct patient care and supporting the surgical team throughout the perioperative continuum.

The role requires RNFA credentials with CNOR preferred, a BSN strongly preferred, and 2–5 years of perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• RNFA credential required or eligible.
• CNOR certification preferred or required for role.
• Minimum 2–5 years perioperative experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers intraoperative patient care as first assistant to the surgeon.
• Functions as a surgical team member, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Monitors patient response, adjusts care plan as needed.
• Participates in professional development and team education.
• Collaborates with perioperative staff and patient support persons.
