Job summary

Sullivan County Community Hospital is seeking an RN PRN for Surgical Services in Indiana. You will assess patients in the operating room, coordinate perioperative care, and scrub or circulate for procedures.

Strong nursing process knowledge and English literacy are required. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a perioperative course or on‑the‑job training, and Indiana RN licensure with CPR/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduate of a formal perioperative nursing course or documented on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status in the intraoperative period and plan perioperative care.
• Coordinate patient care with surgical team using surgeon's preference cards.
• Scrub and/or circulate for simple to complex procedures.
• Document and communicate nursing care and changes in patient condition.
• Perform on-call duties as required.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique.
