Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, MT seeks an experienced Full-Time RN for its surgery team. The RN will assist surgeons and the perioperative staff across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care in multiple specialties.

Responsibilities include care planning, documentation, and quality improvement participation. Certifications required and sign-on/retention bonuses are offered with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications required or must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients at defined intervals.
• Develops an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Performs duties per AORN Perioperative Descriptions and Competencies.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Transfers care as appropriate.
• Delegates tasks per Montana Nurse Practice Act.
• Documents nursing care accurately and legibly.
• Collaborates across disciplines.
• Participates in quality review and performance improvement projects.
• Advocates for patients and maintains privacy and confidentiality.
