Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center (WVMC) in McMinnville, OR, seeks an RN for Surgery- PRN to prepare patients for procedures, monitor vitals, start IVs, and assist the care team throughout perioperative care. You will ensure patient safety and provide education before discharge.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Union position with per-hour wage scale.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions and administers medications.
• Documents patient care and monitors condition for care team and family.
• Prepares, positions, and transports patients for procedures.
• Assists during procedures and supports anesthesia.
• Provides discharge education and postoperative instructions.
• Ensures patient safety and uses resources efficiently.
