Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care in the perioperative setting for all patient populations.
• Assess and monitor patients, coordinating care through the various stages of surgical care.
• Assist with surgical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with positioning and preparing the patient for surgery.
• Documentation of nursing care accurately and complete.
• Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and departments as applicable.

Requirements

• A current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Illinois.
• CPR and ACLS certified.
• First Assist‑RN, Circulator, and/or Pre‑op/PACU Experience preferred.
• Ortho and General Surgery Experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR Surgical applications; preference for CERNER.
