Job summary

Pana Community Hospital is seeking a skilled RN to join our team in delivering quality patient care in the perioperative setting. Responsibilities include assessing patients, documenting care, and collaborating with various departments.

The ideal candidate will have current Illinois RN licensure and certifications in CPR and ACLS, with additional experience in surgical procedures preferred. Join us in providing exceptional patient care!

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Illinois.
• CPR and ACLS certified. First Assist-RN, Circulator, and/or Preop/PACU Experience preferred.
• Experience with Ortho and General Surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Assess and monitor patients and coordinate care during surgical stages.
• Document nursing care accurately and completely.

Skills

RN licensure in Illinois

CPR certification

ACLS certification

Experience with EMR Surgical applications

Collaboration with other departments

Job description

Salary Range: $29.57-$51.00 (Based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care in the perioperative setting for all patient populations.
• Assess and monitor patients, coordinating care through the various stages of surgical care.
• Assist with surgical equipment and supplies
• Assist with positioning and preparing the patient for surgery.
• Documentation of nursing care accurately and complete
• Collaborate effectively with other disciplines and departments as applicable.

Requirements

• A current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Illinois
• CPR and ACLS certified. First Assist-RN, Circulator, and/or Preop/PACU Experience preferred
• Ortho and General Surgery Experience preferred
• Experience with EMR Surgical applications; preference for CERNER
