Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for Perioperative Services II. The RN will provide professional nursing care in line with ANA and Ohio Board standards, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing (BSN within 5 years), current Ohio RN license and CPR certification. Hours are M-F, 8-hour days; call is required and must reside within 30 minutes of the Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nursing.
• Dedication to acquire Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per ANA and Ohio Board standards.
• Interact with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family health.
• Promote a patient- and family-experience oriented environment.
• Act as a change agent to meet census and patient care needs.
