Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period. The nurse acts as patient advocate, assesses the surgical environment for safety concerns, and supports the team to complete procedures.

May supervise orientation and education. Requirements include graduation from a state-approved nursing program with BSN preferred, IL RN license, CPR/BLS, and 2 years perioperative experience

Qualifications

• RN license in IL required.
• BSN preferred.
• 2 yrs RN perioperative experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the perioperative period.
• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the surgical team.
• May orient new staff and support educational programs.
