Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a RN - Perioperative to support adult and pediatric patients in the pre/post-operative setting for a 13-week travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will provide perioperative care, assist with assessments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Required: Iowa license or compact license, BLS, EPIC EMR experience, and 12 months of perioperative or PACU experience; willingness to cover holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months of pre-operative or post-operative experience.
• Travel contract in pre/post-operative or same day surgery within the previous 15 months.
• 24 months of current surgery, pre-operative, post-operative, or PACU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient assessments and ensure patient safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in a surgical setting.
