Job summary

The Eye Institute of West Florida Surgery Center in Largo, FL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Pre-Op, Post-Op and Operating Room care. The role requires RN licensure in FL, an accredited nursing program, and at least 6 months of OR experience.

Responsibilities include supervising patient care in the OR, ensuring aseptic technique, documenting care, and coordinating with Surgeons and staff. BLS and favorable background check are required; travel between local offices is possible with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license in the state where worksite is located.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 6 months of OR experience (scrubbing/circulating).
• Background check with favorable result.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in OR setting.
• Supervise and direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Ensure aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
