Job summary

The Eye Institute of West Florida Surgery Center in Largo, FL seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for Pre-Op, Post-Op and Operating Room duties. Travel to St. Petersburg may be required with mileage reimbursement. You will support OR cases, patient care, and sterile technique in a fast-paced ASC environment.

Required: active RN license in Florida, BN or BSN preferred, BLS cert, 6+ months OR experience, and clean background. Schedule typically 1–3 days/week within Mon–Fri hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN preferred.
• RN license in the work state required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• At least 6 months of OR experience (scrubbing and/or circulating) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per standards.
• Supervise and direct patient care in an Operating Room.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the team.
• Assist in training new staff and ensure aseptic technique.
