Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact.
• BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides patient-centered care reflecting age, gender and disease-specific needs.
• Partner with patient and family through bedside shift report and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration while ensuring safe, quality care.
• Participates in performance improvement and research activities to promote best practices.
