Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Periop Nurse for a part-time Day shift. The role supports a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care in a busy OR setting.

Core requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS and a minimum of five years of direct patient care nursing experience. The RN will follow the WellStar Professional Practice Model and participate in shared governance, mentorship, and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates nursing degree or nursing diploma; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplary nursing practice and outcomes through evidence-based care and effective partnerships.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration while maintaining fiscal responsibility and recruitment/retention of healthcare staff.
• Supports ongoing professional competency, mandatory education and mentorship of other nurses and staff.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participation in quality improvement initiatives and research.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures adherence to policies and standards.
