Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a perioperative role in the PACU AIP department in Aurora, Colorado. This is an onsite, full-time position with day shifts and a pay range of $38.91 to $60.31 per hour, dependent on experience.

The role requires RN licensure, recent PACU/operating room experience, and certifications including PALS, ACLS, and BLS. It emphasizes direct patient care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program or equivalent.
• State licensure as an RN.
• PALS within 3 months of hire or transfer.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• BLS through AHA or American Red Cross with valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in Perioperative, PACU, or Operating Room settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Provide care using nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff or trainees as needed.
