Job summary

Vantage Search Group is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room for Nellis AFB in North Las Vegas, NV. The role supports perioperative care across elective, urgent, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities include preparation and safety of OR, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing education for OR staff. Requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, active RN license, and current life support certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year of post-grad operating room RN experience.
• Current, active RN license in any state.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification current.
• Ability to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing surgery.
• Prepare operating room and equipment, circulate for procedures, and monitor safety per standards.
• Coordinate with surgical team, recovery, ICU, obstetrics, and nursing units.
• Instruct staff on sterilization and equipment care; document care and patient progress.
• Respond to emergencies and assist anesthesia providers as needed.
• Attend orientation and contribute to quality/process improvement activities.
