Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center, an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, seeks an experienced OR RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty facility between Raleigh and Durham. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and staff to ensure safe, cost-effective patient care across ages.

Qualifications include NC RN licensure, 0-6 months to obtain ACLS/PALS if needed, and CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in NC or compact license.
• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred with certification within 6 months if not active.
• CNOR certification strongly preferred; familiarity with perioperative instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to surgical patients in the OR.
• Coordinate safe perioperative plan of care with the team.
• Adhere to age-specific standards and maintain patient safety.
• Demonstrate effective communication and prioritization in a busy environment.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and universal protocol.
